Immerse yourself in recovery community at Kula for a meeting of the mind and body during Y12SR: The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery. Y12SR “connects the dots” between the ancient wisdom of yoga, the practical tools of 12-step programs, and the latest research on trauma healing and neurobiology. The cognitive and the somatic are blended into one holistic approach designed to address the physical, mental, and spiritual dis-ease of addiction.

Y12SR meetings include a 12-step-style recovery-based, discussion-style meeting guided by your peer support specialists, Andrew and Danea. After the meeting, you'll be led through a gentle yoga practice including asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), mudra (hand gestures), and guided meditation, woven together with the Y12SR "interventions" meant to be utilized off the mat.

Y12SR is open to anyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. All "A's," recovery paths, and the recovery-curious are welcome. Y12SR is an adjunct recovery and relapse prevention tool designed to support one's ongoing program.
