Form + Function: A Peak Pose Day Retreat.”

Discover the numerous benefits that challenging poses and arm balances offer, including a significant increase in physical strength, improved balance, enhanced concentration, and boosted confidence. As you practice these advanced postures, you'll cultivate a deeper connection between your mind and body, fostering a sense of empowerment that extends beyond your yoga mat. Not only will you learn the physical aspects of each pose, Delanie and Alex will provide insights on how to seamlessly incorporate these advanced postures into your daily yoga routine. Experience the transformative effects of pushing your boundaries and embracing the challenges these poses present.

Your retreat day will begin with a warm-up flow to prepare your body and mind. From there, you’ll dive into an Arm Balance + Inversions workshop where you’ll break down technique, alignment, and entry/exit strategies for each posture. Whether you’re working toward your first crow or deepening your handstand, this session will offer layered options for every practitioner. 

After the workshop you’ll enjoy a re-energizing lunch, then the group will shift gears into a hands-on essential oil session where you’ll craft your own muscle-soothing blend to support your body through effort and recovery.

You'll return to your mat for a dynamic peak pose workshop where you’ll explore the layers of several advanced asanas. The day will close with a grounding stretch and meditation to give your body and mind space to integrate and process your experience.

Expect to sweat, laugh, learn, and leave feeling strong, supported, and inspired. Give yourself the space to pause and recharge. Come alone and meet friends, or bring them along to enjoy this day together.

This day retreat includes lunch, snacks, and all studio props and supplies needed for the three workshop experiences. All private classes included in the retreat are for retreat participants only. Dress prepared to practice with tight-fitted clothing, and bring a water bottle and your yoga mat.
