Testimonials:
Deep Dive was a transformative experience that I will carry with me always. I signed up because I wanted to know the reasons behind what I was doing on the yoga mat. I didn’t just want to go through the motions, I wanted a deeper connection to the practice. During the classes I quickly learned that I wasn’t just diving deeply into yoga class practice. I was also diving into myself and others. The class discussions on history and philosophy were deep and meaningful, and the portion on the mat was informative and useful on many levels. I finished the course with a deeper understanding of what I was doing in the studio. I also developed a refreshened sense of purpose and peace within myself along the way. —Satori B.
As a yogi who had focused on the physical practice of yoga poses, I was drawn to the Deep Dive training to learn about the philosophy of yoga. Meeting frequently with a small group provided a comfortable space to discuss the reading and have meaningful conversations around the 8-Limbed Path of Yoga. Danea did a fantastic job teaching our cohort many different topics in an easy to understand, digestible format. I appreciated the range of topics we learned about to allow a better understanding of how they can be put into practice together. Being exposed to the different energetics of yoga in the small group allowed me more confidence to incorporate them into my daily practice. Then, I had more courage to go to a Kula chanting series and explore other class styles and workshops having a base knowledge from the Deep Dive. After the Deep Dive, I have deeper connection to my practice and to myself. I learned so much and truly feel this program had such an impact on my journey! —Patty D.
